Praja Darbar (People’s Voice) is a flagship initiative launched by Sri Nara Lokesh, Minister for Human Resources Development, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, to create a direct, transparent, and responsive channel where citizens can present their grievances, requests, and suggestions directly to their elected representative.

Praja Darbar typically begins at 5:00-6:00 AM. Arrive early to ensure entry, as the program operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

Undergo mandatory security screening at the entry point. Cooperate with security personnel for smooth and quick processing.

Complete the registration process by providing basic details. Wait for your turn in the designated queue area.

Submit Petition

When called, approach Minister Nara Lokesh directly. Submit your written petition and briefly explain your issue.

Receive Acknowledgment

Get an acknowledgment receipt for your petition with a reference number for tracking the status of your grievance.

Security Measures & Guidelines for Visitors

Valid Identification
  • Carry a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, DL, Passport).
  • Pre-verification is mandatory at entry point.
  • Visitors without valid ID will not be allowed entry.

  • Weapons of any kind, lighters, or sharp objects.
  • Explosives, inflammable substances, or hazardous materials.
  • Large bags, backpacks, or laptops.

  • White photo ID verification forms.
  • Two passport-size photos (recommended).
  • Supporting documents related to your grievance.
Behavioral Guidelines
  • Maintain decorum and discipline at all times.
  • Follow directions from security and staff.
  • Photography and videography only if permitted.

  • Overall Achievement In just 50 days, Praja Darbar has resolved 75% of 5,810 petitions, demonstrating exceptional efficiency in grievance redressal. This translates to over 4,358 satisfied citizens whose problems found solutions through direct intervention.
  • Land Disputes ResolutionOut of 1,585 land dispute cases submitted, 1,170 cases have been successfully resolved. Notable case: Murududla Raju from Rajavaram in West Godavari district received justice in a long-pending land matter through Praja Darbar intervention.
