Yuva Galam was more than a political padayatra – it was a movement that brought hope to millions. Every step taken during this 400-day journey represented a commitment to the youth of Andhra Pradesh. Despite facing monsoons, scorching summers, and political challenges including the temporary halt due to external circumstances, the padayatra demonstrated unwavering determination and resilience.
The journey fostered direct democracy, where every citizen had the opportunity to voice their concerns, share their aspirations, and become part of the solution. From farmers in rural villages to students in educational institutions, from women entrepreneurs to small business owners – Yuva Galam touched every segment of society.
The impact of Yuva Galam was evident in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections, where Nara Lokesh was elected from Mangalagiri constituency with a massive majority of 91,413 votes – the third highest in the entire state. This victory validated the connection established with the people during the padayatra and marked the beginning of a new chapter in governance focused on youth empowerment and digital transformation.
